- Note -
Till a couple of years back, devotees were allowed to light oil lamps inside Dwarkamai,
but this custom has now been stopped because of Fire safety measures
as well as a risk to fellow devotees who could slip on the Oil fallen down from the Lamps.
Some devotees who disapproved said that at-least a few oil Lamps should be allowed to be lit inside Dwarkamai.
But then these devotees should also keep in mind that with thousands of devotees visiting Shirdi during Deepavali,
it would result in a total chaos with all wanting to light a Lamp inside Dwarkamai.
Remember:
Burning of Lamps in Lendi Garden or outside Dwarkamai is no different to burning them inside Dwarkamai,
as Sai Baba is omnipresent in each-n-every corner of Shirdi.
